Changing Door Lock

Hello,

I am trying to change the lock in a wooden side door in my house. We don't have a key for this particular door, so I just want to change the lock so we can use it.

The door is currently locked. I have removed the inner door handle but am unsure of what to do next?

Please could you someone help? I've put a couple of photos below. One indoors and one outside.

You need the door open to remove the lock. This pic shows how they are screwed in...

Door opens out wards and the lock is scrap anyway so use an angle grinder with a thin metal cutting blade to cut through the nibs. Sometimes it is also possible to force the frame apart so that the door opens but cutting is less destructive .
