I have a long deep window in the lounge that I would like to alter to a smaller window and external door. I am getting conflicting reports on the building regs issue. Can someone please verify position on the following: If I use a fensa installer to replace window with new window and door in the same space apart obviously from the extra length on door (about 30cm) will this satisfy building reg requirements?
