Changing front wishbone on a Fiat Bravo 2009

I need to change this component. Apparently there is a cast version and a sheet metal version. Does anybody know if the two are inter-changeable?

I don't know

The wishbone listed are steel, so if your car is on the list you should be OK. Or you could try doing a general search, for your year and model (petrol/diesel). You don't have to buy, just use the information.

Personally I'd think there would be differences...look at the one on the other side, and thats the type to fit.

Thanks John. Mine are formed from sheet metal and are more costly. I had hoped they might be interchangeable - but I should have known better!

I went to Europarts today and they say the only one listed for the vehicle is a cast one. This leaves me totally unsure, but I have bought it so will see if it fits!

I went to fit the wishbone this afternoon. The hole positions seemed to be pretty similar, BUT where it connects to the wheel strut th hole was too small, being only 12.5mm instead of the required 14mm.

It will have to go back after all !
