I am considering buying an older house and it has the old style screw in fuses in the box. I would want to upgrade to Circuit Breakers. What is involved? Can I do it myself or should I get an electrician and what is the approximate cost? I see that Lowes has a panel kit that includes breakers and the box for about $128.. The house was built in 1967 and is about 3200 sq ft including the finished basement..
