Hey all,
So I have a fused switch (with red light) next to my immersion for electric heating.

Recently I had the whole tank removed, installed combi boiler and the button was repurposed by the installers to turn the water pump on and off. I'd like to replace it with a smart switch and I wondered if that would be any problem.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I can't see a problem in what you have said, but can't understand why a switched fused connection unit would supply just a pump? I note not UK so no idea if different rules, in the UK all central heating controls needing 230 volt all are supplied from same FCU, so one fuse/switch supplies all. So it seems a little strange.
