Changing Panfoss Rmt230 stat for honeywell CM907

Hi there, as per the header shows I am changing my mechanical room stat for an electronic version, they are so much better. Wiring is OK for the live and switched live. However I have a netural connection also. I have seen on earlier posts that this can be ignored as just the switched live is needed. However on my system the boiler needs this netural connection, it's an oil Wallstar boiler. I disconnected the netural on the Danfos RMT230 and the boiler will not fire up. I have not wired up the Honewell CM907.

Can anyone assist as to how I can make this work..

The old stat needs the neutral and won't work properly without it. The new one will be ok without the neutral. Disconnect the old stat neutral and connect the live and switched live together (safely) and see if it works.

Thanks for that all up and working now. I was totally confused as to why there was netural wire. Many thanks have a beer on me !!!
