Changing Pyronix Cloud account

Hi All
I touched on this before but now becoming a possible issue.

My panel (euro 46) is under my installers cloud account, he has gone AWOL and my homecontrol App is telling me to upgrade to procontrol app, i followed the guide on you tube but it wont authorize as its needs the authorization from the cloud owner.

Can i remove from his and have my own / someone elses cloud account or does he need to remove me?

Worryingly i cant get hold of him for over a month now :(

As far as I know ... set up a cloud account ... try to add your device .. it comes up with device already connect to a cloud account , then an option to request the account to be removed from that account
... how long it takes I've no idea never tried it

If the issue is the installer is AWOL.
I may be able to help via pyronix but that can take time.

It will depend on how the accounts been registered as you should be able to move if it's registered under your email relatively easily.

You should be able to register directly with Pyronix at £36 per year, I have offered some from here a discounted rate for access only no servicing etc suited mainly to those that fit it maintain systems themselves.
 
Thanks both for your reply's, I doubt it is registered on my email account as i have a cloud account with pyronix and its not on there.

Initially when i had it set up my concern was over the installer messaging me saying i had gone out or why have i tried to set with fault etc, i rang Pyronix and said the installer was getting my notifications and they were not interested saying to take it up with him, at that time i wasn't really wanting to upset him when as he had control of my system and if i was in or not. (my wife really finds him strange and doesnt want him in the house again

He also doesn't charge me anything as i'm generally ok at doing things on the panel, i have all the codes etc, he used to just tell me over the phone what to do.

When i asked him about upgrading my app so i could use a pyronix camera and he said i didn't need to and get one of Amazon, that was a few months ago now and now the home control app tells me to update i cant get hold of him to authorize my phone, also don't have my wife phone on there now as that needs authorizing. pain really

First of all there are serious issues from what you have said which you should take legal advice on.

Due to the complicated relationship you have with your installer, it is going to be difficult for any installer to help you and they are likely not to want to go anywhere near this with a barge pole.

I can't speak for what was said to Pyronix and there alleged reply.

It is the responsibility of the installer to make sure its programmed correctly, and Pyronix to provide the cloud service for notifications. Pyronix do not offer support to the general public and there contract probably isn't with you but with the installer in this case I suspect and the installer with you.

I believe and can be corrected. If you have all the codes, you can changed the App password and change all the codes. If so and you have changed them all he won’t be able receiver notifications as the account details are wrong.

Happily to be corrected
