Hi all -
I'm installing a thermostatic shower and have chased pipes in wall with 3/4" female connectors off the elbows ready to connect up. The shower has come with these angled 1/4" to 3/4" connectors which seem quite common with showers now, and have a narrowing internally. I have however had to change the tile to a much thinner one, meaning the gap between the wall and the shower is now too great. My idea is to change the supplied adapters to a standard 1/4" to 3/4" male adapter which will make up the gap as it's shorter. But I'm wondering if there's a reason I should be using the supplied angled adapters and what they actually do?
Many thanks!
