Have just installed above 3 channel programmer. Problem i have is that underfloor heating needs a volt free contact from programmer, which above does not have
Thought i had to put one in. Was hoping(dreaming) there was another way
From hepworth diagram thought this controller would suit. It states on wiring diagram for volt free contact on pump demand, so why didn't it state this for programmer
You have got me thinking now. Because common was linked on programmer i was having a back feed to wiring centre on time 0 contact, which made internal relays on unit 'chatter'
I removed connections from time 0 and 1 and linked out. The unit then worked correctly. Only thing i can't remember i tried was just using switched live onto time 1(i'm sure i did but i.ve drunk a few since then )
there is only one boiler tho i take it? how would that work if there no demand for under floor heating it shuts down boiler? but what is say hotwater being called for how would this over-ride it etc. need wiring diagram really
I take it this is for a wet underfloor heating system?
I fitted the controls and boiler wiring for a velta 14 zone underfloor heating system years back, and remember fitting a relay near the boiler and programmer but can't for the life of me remember what it did.
