We're thinking of installing wall mounted taps and a shower controller in our bathroom but the internal wall is breeze and is only 3 inches thick with electrics on the otherside which have already been chased. My question is, what sort of depth is usually required for shower controllers is a 3 inch wall to shallow? Would it be better to build a false wall?

There was me hoping to get a bigger bath in that space, what depth studding would people recommend? I would like to keep it to a minimum, I reckon I can nick a little bit out of the breeze wall to keep the studding size down. We are looking at crossfire stuff but their site is down so I can't get depths off their site - sorry for the questions!
