A bloke in Wickes asked me if he could lash up some underfloor heating with a few lengths of pipe under the boards. We had a similar question here where we all guffawed in unison at the prospect of floors at 82 degrees.
But suppose you used something like a cyltrol vlave, or another of the ones where you have a long capillary and sensor bulb? Like a remote-sensor TRV. If the temp of the water further along the loop were used to cut the loop off until it cooled, would it provide a cost-effective way of providing a warm floor in say a small bathroom? Not for primary heating, just for comfort.
ANswers on a postcard.
I haven't thought this through; when I do this post may be edited to a blank dspace and a

I might set up a rig to try it out.

(Which endoscope is it you use?)

XWD one 18" long about 18mm diameter, looks at 90 degrees or straight ahead. No light integral but a low voltage 20W capless bulb shoved through first is more flexible anyway. COmes in a suitably rufty tufty case.

Bought it thinking of using for looking up chimneys instead of taking gas fires off the wall for LGSR's. But then there was a bird found in the back of a fire.
