Cheapest place for timber (Nottingham)

so im looking to build a few things and posibly eventualy a kitchen, now i know some of you will tell me its prolly cheaper to buy flat packs but to be honest i not only enjoy doing it but i also have the drive to finish projects of my own rather than putting something togeather.
so to cut it short im looking for timber for frames ranging from 2"x2" to 2X" and flat panel boards from like 1/2"

any advice is welcome
i love in the nottingham area.

Cant you get the timber from the same place as the timber you used for your fish tank Support?

good quality and cheap dont go together in the same breath

you need joinery quality timber to make a decent job off it

if you can get your wood from a wood yard you will get better quality the wood from the sheds [bxq/wicks ect] is generaly poorer quality

try not to mix and match between shed and wood yard wood as the measurements are different
the worst example being 1" planed comes out at around 21/22mm and from a shed 18/19mm
