Cheech & chong

Up until yesterday I'd never heard of Cheech & Chong. Until Odd posted a clip in response to somthing I said.

I recognise the music but not the film

However another scene popped up on my phone today.

What is it that Notch and Carma call this?

They're not too mainstream and it's easy to have missed them. Don't recall their films ever on tv. Some of it is very funny though. I never heard of them until mid 90s when me and couple of friends went on a coach trip from Bristol to Cologne to see ZZ Top. On the coach another passenger had a couple of their films (inc. Up In Smoke) which he put on the coach's VCR. Those films certainly helped make a long journey seem much shorter.
