Can anyone help?
I had a false chimney breast built, a wood burning stove installed and then plastered over to finish the chimney breast. There is an oak mantle over the opening. A small area of plaster has now come away ( about 8" by 2") from just above the mantle on one side of the chimey breast. Can I buy some ordinary plaster to patch it up or should I buy some special plaster ( considering the heat generated form the stove)?
Also, would I have to buy heat resistant paint for the same reason?
Thanks in advance for any help
