We moved into our current house last October. The chimney breast in the living room appears to have two large hollow sections that are made of plasterboard. I have highlighted these sections in red.
Is this normal?
There is another chimney breast in the bedroom directly above it that has the same width but that is made entirely of brick. Is this considered to be properly supported is the breast below it is effectively a lot narrower? Thank you
