A couple of quick questions if I may:
Old barn conversion but basically new build with 600mm deep stone walls. Need to build a chimney and would appreciate a link to relevant UK building regs. I know there are various "kits" available but prefer to build in block and reinforced concrete to form inglenook for wood burner then 9" pipe surrounded in block. I think there are some other requirements though......
Second minor question: Internal walls. I'm thinking of using a 100mm "aircrete" block, and similar with insulation behind to form a cavity against the solid exterior walls as opposed to studwork. Any thoughts on construction?
Many Thanks
Adrian
