chimney liner on victorian terrace

Hi we are considering putting in a log burner if we stay in our current house so imagine we would need the chimney lining. There are 3 floors that the liner would need to run down. We would be looking to do this say in a year or two as would need to save up.

Before this though in our 1st floor bedroom we are going to put in a stud wall and soundproof it just in front of the party wall where the chimney breast is.

When people drop the chimney liners do they ever need access to the chimney breast on the first or second floors if the liner gets stuck? Obviously i wouldn't want the newly soundproofed stud to need to be cut into so would have to maybe look at getting the liner done earlier.

In an ideal world they wouldn't need access, however I can't comment on what state your chimney is in and therefore can't dive a definitive answer.
