Hi,

I am looking for at least the name of the fasteners used to fasten 2 pieces of chipboard or timber at right angles to each other.
The fastener I am thinking of has 2 parts. Part one is cylindrical in shape with a threaded hole and is entered into a hole drilled some way from the edge of the timber. Part 2 is a long bolt, often with an Allen head.
Typically these are seen on flatpack furniture.

Any web pages or supplier info greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for that. It wasn't actually those I was trying to locate but the Screwfix cam bolt allowed me to trace back and find what I was after... "Cross Dowel and Cross dowel bolts"

Cheers
