Chipped cistern lid

Can the porcelain on sink / toilets be repaired.

I have a new toilet going in and the joiner has dropped something on the lid to chip it quite badly on the edge.

I dont think i can get a replacement lid from screwfix (their basic toilet range) so would like to glue it if possible.

Would superglue be ok ?

say it was chipped out the box if you have the neck for it!!!

They are only £50 buy another?
