Hi All,

I did a search before on here but still can't get a resolve. Porcelain plank style tiles. When using my small wetsaw the edges leave tiny chips on the finish. Doesn't matter if the tile is up down etc. Tried a new blade that claims to be thinner and gives clean cuts. Same issue. Using a standard tile cutter they are fine

Invested in a tile blade for my Evolution sliding mitre saw with the same problem.

I did see some guy on a video saying to use a whetstone on the sides of the blade, presumably to dull it? But does this actually work?

It's the cuts around the window that I need to be clean but stuck on what to do. Thanks for reading.

I used a tile cutter to score the edge first, just half a mm away from the cut line

what blade are you using -marcrist and rubi are good makes

you can sand off the edge a little to get id of tiny chips

Or hire a bridge saw for a day -Id imagine that might give a good cut

The blades I bought are Evolution's own (which are normally good) and some German one, I forget the name. I've tried scoring first but still with poor results. May try again. Thanks.
