I've got a 210mm evolution mitre saw and I need to cut a load of acetal rod. Ideally I want a nice clean finish with minimal saw marks. What my best option for saw blades, just buy a brand new evolution multi-purpose blade or something else? I can get a 60T TCT blade

Some is 25mm, some is 12mm. The 25mm is the part that really needs a good finish. I've got a band saw but if i use that they need a bit of lathing to clean them up. I was hoping to get a cut finish that is good enough as I have quite a few to make. If I set the stop up on the chop saw I can rattle through them.

Evolution have a weird arbor size, not the normal 30mm

I can't answer the question directly but I would try and get a sample to play with before you start the job.

get the finest blade you can find at a reasonable price

double sided sticky tape 12mm ply to the base and back fence full width
cut first without plastic in place to form a slot
this will give the plastic maximum support
do not drop to quick experiment to see what speed[feed rate] gives you the best result
