Would BZP not look near enough the same as chrome?
What size are the screws, and what style of head?
A fastener stockist or boat chandler may be able to supply stainless steel parts, or a supplier specialising in auto / motorcycle custom parts may stock chromed fasteners.
BZP would probably tarnish and darken quite rapidly in a humid atmosphere.

Are you sure you mean set screws.....? 
Set scres are like bolts, with a thread all the way to the head.

maybe not this manufacturer but a lot of shower and screen manufacturers use a similar thing forget stainlees steel screws these look better just a smooth head ! when pushed on.

Big al and hitch , you seriuosly dont know what a set screw is ? perhaps its terminoligy just in my neck of the woods , anyway i am warming to the idea of stainless steel SET SCREWS counter sunk off course .
