I have a Grundfos Super Selectric circulating pump that is continually running in the airing cupborad all the time, why is this. My central heating system is fed by a Glow Worm Ultimate Boiler.
I know some new builds have such complicated heating systems that they are often not installed properly - or bad advice is given to residents (i.e. leave room stat on 25 and use TRVs all round house - that would mean having the pump on all the time)

wow thats a great diagnosis with absolutely no information about the fault other than a pump is running.
do you not think if you were to assume some more that it could be the more classic faults such as the diverter valve holding the pump on....or faulty pump overrun if it has one??
