Guys,
I wonder if you’d be able to offer me some advise. I’m in the process of installing a bathroom and have hit a problem. I have a concealed cistern that I need to leave access for should there ever be problems.
The cistern is concealed behind a unit, which is covered by a worktop, similar to a kitchen worktop. I have a cistern access cover (made of the same material as the worktop). I need to cut out a section of the worktop to allow this access cover to sit over the cistern.
I’m unsure about what tool to use to complete this task. The worktop wasn’t cheap so I can’t afford to make a mistake. Am I right in thinking I should be using a router and jig? If so can you offer me some advice on how to carry this out?
Yours,
Teggs.
