Try the sheds they always seem to have bits 'n' pieces from broken toilets, take the dimensions with you.

Have you searched for 6884 cistern lid on any search engines ?

Never had much luck obtaining lids but have purchased suitable new complete cistern's in the past,around £30 -£40 job done.

had a look on search engines but no luck; point taken about complete new cistern but potentially retiling etc. I've sent some messages to cistern parts people; we'll see what they say

oddly enough that company has asked me to send them photos of the whole wc. I'll add the photos here just in the remote chance that someone can identify it. I'm not a plumber so I can't comment on replacing the whole cistern but I would have thought that I would have the same problem with matching.
