Hi. i have a chain flush cistern, water keeps running in to the bowl even though the tank seems to have filled up, I have checked the flush goes back fully, is it a problem inside the cistern, thanks for any help
Chain as in small one inside cistern connected to flap valve @ the bottom as opposed to chain hanging from iron/black rubber cistern 6 foot off the ground .....it`ll be the flap valve not seating properly.....ok you checked that.......maybe the seal round the valve to the cistern base
thank for reply, its 6ft off the ground cistern, is the seal round the valve to the cistern base inside or out of the cistern, sorry I need this in idiot terminology
A high level one ......anyways ........put a new syphon in I`ve come across one that had a split in the syphon letting water through. It`s not going to be a flush valve on a high level, I`m pretty sure of that
