Replacing a cistern and the wingnut is in a tight space. Tried WD40, mole grips but wingnut won't bugde, just spins when I turn the screw in the cisterne. Any suggestions on how to remove anyone? (see pictures)
Spray some wd40 on the wing nut and thread.
Leave it for 20 minutes.
Clamp the wing nut with mole grips in such a way that the mole grips cant turn. And then try with a screwdriver to unscrew the bolt.
Just get the cheapest. For intermittent use. you don't need more than that. Don't get a battery one. It could be out of power midway through. The flexi-adaptor might be needed for tight spaces.
