Whilst at idle there is a sudder/ mis from the engine.
Put a reader on and got the following

At 736 rpm injector order
1. 98.8%
2. 98.04%
3. 106%
4. 95.67%

At 1664rpm
All read 100.39%

Would the higher reading from 3 at idle indicate its knackered or is this within tolerances?
Any advice welcome

If injectors changed do you need to tell the ecu. Went through all the readers options,Lexia dealer emulator, but there is nowhere that the current injectors injection rate is shown.

I cant help with the tolerances but it does look as if you have a slight variation in number 3. Injectors are best flow tested by a professional but your readings may be a step in the right direction.
It may be worth putting a good quality injector cleaner through the tank first and see if your readings change.

If this is on an 8 valve engine, I have never known one fail.

Thanks for the replies, its a 16 valve which is rated at 138hp instead of the more usual 110bhp from a 2.0l. Been a bit tardy viewing just been changing transfer box on a Suzuki agnis 4grip, don't ever have one not even as a gift.

I do like an easy one, now and again .................

A mate has a '98 Beemer with the in line diesel six......it does exactly the same but calms down with the more expensive fuel.
Who knows why for sure, but a replacement injector plus coding makes the job uneconomic so the better fuel it is!
John :)
