Anyone a little perturbed?

Old ground I know, but valid I think.
Motorist gets the speeding points but let us qualify that emotive word 'speeding' ... a reality of say 35 mph each time, but no claims and no accidents over at least that period whilst gaining the points.
Fined remorselessly ... Right to drive removed for 6 months, possibly loses job and or home, Insurance snouters waiting to charge much larger premiums .... Oh, then 'driving form' monitored closely for several years after the ban.
Isn't there something wrong ??
Is our 'Govn' just taking the pizz ??
I know ! But I am having a go whilst I have a lifelong, clean, motoring sheet ... No personal axe to grind - yet !
