I still uses classic style watchman plus on my heater oil tank.

Today it blinked some numeric code.. anybody have the error code list ? it doesn't seems to be on the web no matter how i tried.

It blinks something like : "3 horizontal lines" -> 04 -> 62 -> 25 -> 34 -> "something look likes 'r' " ...

After observing the sticker underneath the receiver, i believe it is the serial number or somewhat code, because the sticker with barcode and numbers at the bottom of the receiver is 04622534 ..
then the question is: why it blinking this number which is the number of the sticker ?? need pairing ? this device was working just fine for years... changed battery before and it works right after battery change.. no need pairing.

I wish someone have answer for me, .
Thanks.

Correct re serial number they always flash that first then battery replaced but should then stop.
We have replaced a few with new sonic type as old ones do fail.
Tho a old mate who rang decent size oil distribution company always maintained only good tank gauge was a broom handle!

But mine keeps flashing the same "serial number" for the whole day already. when i fasten the "copper tube" (with new battery installed, 6.3v measured), the "plastic spiny ball like device produces somesort of beeping sound (kind of like sonar)" for many times before it went quite. Regardless, the receiver always only blinking the same "code" as mentioned above.

Is there anything i can do ?

We haven't found a way just replace.
This is probably where diy and doing it for a living diverge.
I can't charge a customer for several hrs prattling about and still not get it to work .
New one £80 or less fit it and move on with life.

The new one.. what it is called ? is it watchman sonic ? the tank is full of kerosene.. i don't think drilling a bigger hole for the newer model is good.. plastic bits will fall into the kerosene, might cause problem to the outlet..
