Kitchen refit small commercial project-
Ground floor room, we have a inspection chamber in this room ( old one ..took some opening) inside main building waste (central flow) and three swept branches joining all in 100mm clay.
Two of the branches serve hoppers in the room, working and good order.
Third branch - I’ve followed the pipe to a internal wall where hopper used to be (floored over and cemented in.. now can we get this back in use (really would be helpful as no drainage this side of room!!)
I’ve rodded upto this point, also had a endoscope through the clay pipe ..all seems good , no cracks clean & smooth.
I’ve dug down to where the pipe meets the buried/cemented hopper is ..also this branch serves nothing else and is just over 4meters long!
However this also is encased in cement and deep.. been a quest just to reach top of the pipe,
My hope of digging all around and cutting and fitting a 110 adapter is going up in smoke.
One possibility maybe to core drill the top of the pipe to fit a rubber boss to accept a 50mm pipe (maybe swept bend) & fit a new hopper with a 50 outlet.
Does this sound feasible…reportable etc !!
