Was going to scrub it with fairy liquid and water with a stiff brush then pressure wash it. Will this work? Will a cheapo £100 pressure washer damage the wood?

pressure wash it then oil it.......... and 6months later it will be the same...cant wait to get rid of mine

Never pressure wash timber decking. It opens the the gain, loosens the fibres and softens the surface.

Brush, moss cleaner, rinse, then oil when dry.

I won't do it close up. From a distance to rinse off what I've scrubbed with brush and either fairy liquid or (clothes) washing powder

Even from a distance it's still powerful enough to open the fibres.

Put the 100 towards replacing it.

I'll get decking cleaner next time. It's cleaner and moss gone but not back to original colour. Top photo is before and bottom after.
