Hi,

I am really struggling to get some stains off my white uPVC window frames (UK). I attach a picture. This problem is on the bottom frames where the rain water runs off the window pane.

I have tried a number of products -
- HG uPVC cleaner
- Sandtex Trade -PVC cleaner
- No Nonsense (Screwfix) uPVC cleaner
- De-Solv_it Stick Stuff Remover

I have tried each multiple times.

Any thoughts to how to remove these stains?

Thanks

Have you tried any uPVC cream cleaner, essentially non abrasive Jif, I have in the past watered down some Jif with warm water and used a dish sponge, came up well, I've also used T-cut and then car polish afterwards to remove the T-cut residue

Thank you. I was hoping to stay away from using any abrasive products. How much damage can these do if used only once?
You mention a non-abrasive cream cleaner - any specific product recommendations?

Very little if any if watered down a lot, consistency like skimmed milk maybe. There are various cream cleaners but I would stay away from Screwfix no nonsense stuff, we get our stuff from eurocell and the soudal range of products are pretty much what the trade use

Google for a eurocell near you or look for an independent building plastic supplier, they'll likely keep it in too, eurocells own brand is silversil and does the job too
