Currently repainting all the doors and frames in the house but the current hinges look past their best, covered in oil based paint from years ago.
I could simply replace the hinges but wondered if there was an easy way to remove all the old paint. When I say easy, I don't mean wire wool and a toothbrush; I was thinking plopping the hinges into some chemical solution for a time with the paint falling off.
Thanks.
