Not sure what this stain is in the downstairs toilet, however oringinally the tiles were sealed but to be honest not done it since then.

(1) Any ideas how to remove this stain ?
(2) How often should I be re-sealing the floor?

Thanks

Do you know what colour tile adhesive was used when they were installed?

Light colour travertine tiles should be put down with white addy. The standard grey can leach through and stain the tile.

I dont but think it was grey. I purchased what was recommended by the shop - it was a flexible adhesive (mapei). Same was used for the smaller 10 x 10cm tiles on the wall with no leach through there?

water or p stains, what did you seal them with ? should have been sealed before grouting & again after, fila will last for 5-7 yrs whereas lithofin only lasts 12-18 months

Not really sure what the source of the stain, with children & incontent relatives could be anything.

I used LTP Colour Intensifier & stainblock, colour enghancing tile sealer - which was sold to be with the tiles from the supplier as suitable for the job.
So is this lithofin?

Is there anyway to recover from the stain now or am i stuffed?

Really would appreciate some advice on this one.

(1) Is there anyway of removing the stain (assume not)
or
(2) What product could I use to stain the tiles a darker colour to cover the stain?

Thanks
