Hi - our 1930s house still has the lovely original panelled doors in bare wood (pine?). We sanded and waxed them some while ago but they have dried out and over time have become marked with drips and stains (worst in the bathroom natch) where people haven't been careful enough.

What would the panel recommend as to how we best clean them up and protect them? We would rather not use a varnish if we can help it as the wood finish is beutiful - so is wax or oil the answer? Any tips on how to do this without taking them off the hinges or is that a false economy?

TIA,
M

Try something from the Osmo oil range.
Best done removed to avoid runs and drip marks and get even coat.
