A little advice, please.
I'm doing some volunteer wardening at a local nature reserve. The windows in the hides there haven't been cleaned for years. I had a crack at some of them yesterday, using a cheap "spray on, wipe off" vinegar-based cleaning fluid and some clean cloths. It shifted the grime, but left them looking very smeary - not the effect I wanted, at all.
Advice would be appreciated on the best equipment/materials/technique for getting these panes crystal-clear, bearing in mind that the budget is minimal, there's currently no water supply on site, and anything I take down there has to be taken on a bus and then carried 3 miles on foot.
Obliged,
