I've painted a large amount of kitchen tiles using International tile primer followed by gloss (standard Crown interior one-coat gloss, I couldn't find a specialist tile gloss in a colour that I liked). The finish is fine except for the kitchen windowsill tiles where the gloss coat is proving vulnerable to scratching due to the usual junk that lives on a kitchen windowsill.
can anyone suggest an appropriate clear varnish or similar that can go over the top of the gloss paint coat to make a really tough scratch proof layer. there are a wide variety of clear products in the usual diy shops but its not obvious which of them would be useable for this application.
