Clic Seal. Is this worth using?

I`ve just been to floors2go for threshhold strips. I then noticed the clic seal stuff here http://www.floors2go.co.uk/products...product_id=436&variation_id=1528&search_term=.

It supposedly waterproofs the floor by sealing the joints between the planks of laminate or wood flooring.

What do you think?

does actually do what its says mate!

my kitchen laminate was a mess when we moved in , so i replaced and used that stuff ......we had a leak and the floor is ok..

i suspect if i hadnt of used that stuff then the water would have got into the joints and the laminate would have swollen on the seams.

I noticed you don`t sell it on your site!

Wouldn`t this help even a small amount compared to none at all?

At the same time though as the floor expands and contracts wouldn`t this be forced apart? Then again I suppose if each board can expand by lets say a max of 2mm, this would surely stretch enough.

No, we sell only proper, workable, honest stuff

Kidding besides, we always glue the T&G with PVAC adhesive, that works also as a sealer against moist (i.e. two in one product)
