Hi. Am laying LVT click throughout full house. Have come to master bedroom and looking for advice on how to finish flooring where it meets fitted wardrobes.
The wardrobes have a thick plinth all around the base which is fixed solid to the carcass (have explored and no visible way of removing the plinth from the carcass). The previous floor was carpet which has now been removed. There is no gap between the plinth and the flooring boards.
Elsewhere I have used multi tool to undercut door frames etc and notch out stair risers etc
Would it be an option to undercut the full length of the plinth (about 2m continuous run at the longest part). If so, assuming could either notch cut 25mm all along although it's a pain removing the excess below the cut, or plunge undercut through the full depth of the plinth and hope it comes away from the carcass easily enough.
Really not keen on beading etc.
Thoughts? Also, any recommendations on a good clean cutting blade (DeWalt tool) for the job?
