Clicking noise coming from kitchen light

Everytime i have had my kitchen light turned on for a while and then turn it off, it makes a clicking noise, off and on for about 30 minutes. None of the other lights in the house do it. what would cause this?

Expansion and contraction of the fitting as it warms ups and cools down is the most likely reason.
