clips on a ceramic kitchen sink

Hi , i have fitted a ceramic sink i still have to secure it with the clips , i was wondering the best way to do this ,when i take the sink out again do i attach the 2 piece clips to all the 10 points on the sink , or do i just attach the plastic pieces then when i drop it in,insert the metal parts with the screw to secure it , i would imagine if i fit the 2 pieces together before dropping it in some clips may catch on the worktop , any help appreciated ,
