Close coupled WC syphon replacement

Hi Folks
The diaphragm has had it in my 30 year old WC and I would like to replace the whole syphon unit with a modern one which doesn't require the whole tank to be removed for any future maintenance and has the duo flush option. The old syphon unit measures 300mm in height but looking around online I can only find 203mm and 229mm Dudley turbo duo flush units. My question is should I purchase the tallest 229mm unit even though it's a bit shorter than my current syphon by around 90mm? or does it really matter?

Or just buy an adjustable Dudley Turbo88 and set the height (see polesapart post above) to match the old one. See Screwfix 9756F
