Hi all.
I'm soon to be undertaking replacing my doors and windows. I have removed the plaster and exposed the brick in the first room to be completed and the house has a block/cavity'brick construction. The sides have been originally closed up using brick and block (house made ~1974) and the base is open.
However the top is in line with the top course of bricks and there's nothing else above. It then goes into the soffit.
I'm going to fit a cavity closer for the base and am using compriband on the sides before using expanding foam.
However I'm a bit stuck as to what to use at the top?
The new window frame will sit up to the lintel, as it does at present.

Any ideas?
