CLOUDY HOT WATER?

Combi fitted for a couple of weeks now,hot water is a cloudy colour.Thought it might have been because it was new!.Is this normal? Thanks

does it clear if left to stand?. Have seen it with millionns of micro air bubbles -looks cloudy

Turned out to be a leak in the company main.

fill a tall glass and watch it clear - if it clears from the bottom up, its air bubbles, if it clears from the top down, its sediment.

When you heat and reduce the pressure in mains water very quickly, you can liberate the dissolved air in the water.

We get it occassionally in thermal stores that heat the water from cold to 60 in a few seconds.
