I am rebuilding a cobblestone front porch. I am using a Mapai product kera 121 and portland cement ratio 1:1 the kera 121 is very sticky and mixes well with the portland cement and seems to stay and hold the cobblestoes in place very well, but i am experiencing some small cracking ( fine lines) and wondered if this is normal. Also the house is 80 yrs old . How do i fix these fine lines? do i just repoint when i'm done? Iwas considering using this method to repoint the rest of the cobblestone is this adviseable? most of the stones are just rock with some granite and sandstone. I'm sure it will deteriorate where it mets granite and sandstone so i wondered how to combat this effect.
