Code F02 on Hotpoint Washer Drier

I am re-posting this since I inadvertently put it in the motoring section before and obviously people could not see that it was a mistaken placement.I have a Hotpoint Ultima WD860 washing machine which keeps showing the error code F02 which apparently means either the motor is jammed or the tacho is detached(whatever that is).
Is it something that a reasonably competent person could fix or does it need the expert from Hotpoint at some extortionate hourly rate to come and look at and tell me it is totally knackered.
Any help would be very welcome indeed.

needs a new pcb ,motor relay on the board is shot send the board for a exchange to emw about 50 quid is the easy way.
