I admit it, I\\\'m a coffeegeek and condidering buying a professional espresso machine. The problem is that these need to be plumbed in. Is there such a thing as an adaptor which will feed my dishwashing and the impending coffee machine from the one small tap thing,

You need to get a large rotund biped thing called a plumber - he will adapt your small tap thing in no time.
