Hi,
I have a combi fitted in my flat which supplies the hot water to the shower mixer, however the cold is on a gravity feed from the old gravity heating system. Since I'm on the top floor and the header tank is just a few feet above, I don't get much pressure on the cold. (Thought it may have been residual pressure from the hot flowing back up the cold, so I fitted a no-return value to the cold but it's not much of an improvement.) Can I fit a single pump to the gravity cold pipe to improve the pressure to the shower? I read that you can't use pumps with combi's but this isn't strictly on the same system as the combi.
Thanks
