AGA cooker (2 door) oil fired which heats the hot water indirectly via the hot water cylinder.
We live on Limestone, so scale is a problem.
The pipe which comes off the flow to the HWC goes to the expansion tank in the loft. Before it gets there a T junction takes a feed to the bathroom rad.
Since the AGA was serviced two weeks ago the rad does not heat up.
The flow to the rad is a dribble compared with the return, which is a jet.
An AGA plumber reckons the pipe is blocked and needs clearing. He suggested compressed air, another suggestion is Sentinel. descaler.
Can someone point me to a compressed air piece of kit as I am not sure how they work in practice.
